This week our blogger gals dazzle us once again with unique looks that are so chic and perfect for spring! Sometimes it can be difficult trying to figure out how to wear certain pieces in our wardrobe, but with the help of these lovely ladies, styling inspiration is something we are never short of.

Elsie of A Beautiful Mess look absolutely darling in our Double Exposure Printed Shift Dress! Her fun floppy hat and striped flats complete the look along with her cuter than cute braids!

Elizabeth of Ellie Joy shows off her Ruchette style in a multitude of ways and we are in love with every single one of them! She looks great in every piece including our Sweetest Thing Shift Dress, Siesta Button Detail Shorts, and printed skirt! Here's what she had to say about being a Ruchette:

I've always felt I was born in the wrong decade. I grew up watching Doris Day and Judy Garland movies, and always loved the fashion of the 40s. As a pre-teen and teen I loved musicals from the 50s & 60s and always thought: "Why can't those fashion trends make a comeback?" Ruche has affordable and modern pieces that allow me to reflect my love of mid-century fashion in a 21st century way.  That's why I love being a "Ruchette".

Jessica of the Steele Maiden finishes off her effortless outfits with our Mindy Lace Up Wedges for a sophisticated and modern look!

Rebecca of Lot 65 knows how to create a wonderful look with the simple combination of black pants and a cute top! She wears our Pixie Dust Curvy Plus Lace Blouse so well and our polka dot heels pull the entire look together.

Rebecca of The Clothes Horse looks summer ready in our white embroidered dress. We can never say no to a dress that is great for twirling! She finished her look with a simple hair clip and sparkly neutral heels.

Joanna has been a loyal Ruchette from the very beginning, and we've loved all her outfit photos over the last year! It only makes sense that we've chosen this stylish blogger as our June Ruchette of the Month! Learn more about this charismatic gal and see how she balances her extremely busy schedule between being a wife, mother, blogger and actress.

Describe your personal style in 3 words.
    Boho.  Eclectic. Feminine.

Which season is your favorite for fashion?
Summer!  Not only does it feel extremely brief here, but I'm naturally always cold.  So when everyone else is sweating, I'm comfortably wearing a sweater.  That's why when the temperature spikes, my spirits rise and my fashion sense comes out to play.

Do you have a style icon?
Audrey Hepburn for her class and her dedication to tailoring.  Bridget Bardo for her wild abandon and her unabashed sexiness.

What’s in your bag? What do you absolutely need every time you leave the house?
Lipgloss. My day planner - yes I still use an old paper one, I love the feel of paper and pen. Cell phone.  My camera.  And when I'm out and about alone, my bike and helmet.  When I'm with my girl, snacks and diapers.  I know, I'm one wild woman.

Tell us how you balance being a wife, mother, blogger and actress. It seems like quite a full plate!
Well, I rely on my day planner to keep track of events, shoots, and to-do items.  I'd be lost without it.  And I'm pretty motivated in my goals and my priorities.  If I can be on a shoot, I'll make that happen - friends and family watching my girl make it possible to get to auditions, rehearsals, and onto sets.  A great support system and community are essential.  Plus, if anything ever stopped being fulfilling and became a chore, it would be gone.  I'm blessed to be passionate about all the areas of my life - wife, mother, actor, blogger, photographer.

With a busy schedule in mind, do you have any styling tips for moms-on-the-go?
Tailoring and a simple closet that easily interchanges are the way to go.  Part of the reason I love dresses - it's a whole outfit in one go.  If you buy a piece, make sure it fits, or get it adjusted with a tailor.  It makes all the difference.  I buy pieces that are affordable and super cute, like Ruche, and then tailor them myself - or with the help of my talented mother-in-law - if it's even a bit off to make them fit like they were made for me.  Then it becomes easy to throw things together on the go because everything fits and works together.

Plus, lipgloss and big shades go a long, long way.

Let’s say you have 5 minutes to get ready for date night. What is your go-to outfit?
A great patterned dress - like one of my favs from Ruche, boots, a funky belt, and a killer jacket.  Then maybe a cute scarf if I feel like it, or if it's a bit chilly.

Do you prefer heels or boots? Stripes or polka dots?
Boots!  I'm so addicted.  Haven't met a boot I didn't like yet.  For some reason they are the perfect blend of casual and chic to me.  I wear them all year round.

If I had to choose, it'd be stripes.  I've got such small delicate features and a petite frame that sometimes I run the risk of looking cute and child-like in polka dots.  And when I'm producing a movie, and telling people what to do the last thing I want to do is appear child-like.  But don't get me wrong, polka dots are still a huge presence in my closet.  It's all about how you wear things and finding that balance.

Where can we find you on a Sunday afternoon?
Well since I'm freelance, Sunday afternoons hold no meaning.  I may be on set, shooting a photography session,  playing at the park with my girl, or in a production meeting.  It really depends on the day.   But where I would like you to find me is in an epic board game battle, or in the backyard eating my Husband's delicious meals.

Last but not least, what do you love most about being a Ruchette?
I love the timeless elegance and the day-to-day pragmatism of the Ruche outfits. It's wonderful to be able to go through my day feeling utterly feminine and utterly powerful and strong at the same time.  That's my favorite part about Ruche,  you never have to sacrifice anything.

We're not nutrition experts, but we are confident in saying that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Start your morning off on a good note with this fruit and vegetable packed breakfast drink!

    1 banana, sliced
    1 kiwi, peeled
1/2 pear, sliced [with skin left on for added fiber]
    1/4 avocado
    1/3 cup pineapple
    1/3 cup mango
    1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
    1 tbsp. honey
    1 cup packed spinach
1/2 cup-3/4 cup vanilla, unsweeted almond milk, depending on desired thickness

Add all ingredients into your magic bullet (or blender) and blend until smooth. If you're using a magic bullet, you may need to blend in increments - adding about half the ingredients, condensing by blending, then adding the rest.

This smoothie is the bomb. When i make it for breakfast, I notice a little kick in my step the rest of the morning. I like to think all of the vitamins and nutrients seeping from it provide an added energy boost. I'll let you in on a little secret--sometimes, I don't even drink coffee when I make it...blasphemy, I know, but it's true.

Natural beauty mixed with hints of vintage make for a beautiful bridal shoot and we love the way Lauren from Love Lola incorporates both into her darling pictures! We are head over heels for her vintage bridal gown that brings a simple kind of beauty to the shoot with its delicate lace and ruffles. She also uses a vintage blue birdcage as a prop to complete the ethereal look and feel of the shoot. Her beauty and joy lights up every photo!

I was married last May and these photos are from my bridal shoot. My dress is vintage, and my flower crown is handmade from Etsy. My wedding was vintage-inspired, making my bridal shoot vintage inspired as well. We also incorporated a "midsummer night's dream" feel to it. Marrying my husband was like a dream to me, and this shoot embodies that perfectly. I am so grateful to Tahni Candeleria-Holm from Joyeuse Photography for providing us with such beautiful pictures to cherish forever!

We love seeing all the fun and different submissions from our Ruchette community - but sometimes we can't help but get overly excited for certain recipe entries. This Strawberry Galette dessert is one that we are just dying to try! It only requires a small amount of ingredients and is quick and easy to make!

I think that summer is officially here because my strawberry patch is bursting with sweet red berries. The time that we've all been yearning for is finally here.  Dinners on the grill, summer desserts, and big bowls full of ripe, juicy, sweet berries. The sweet delicious summer fruit is back! I am not much of a baker which should make you feel much better because that means that this Strawberry Galette is super easy to make. This is simple, rustic, no fuss dessert that can be whipped up in a few minutes and enjoyed outside under the summer sky!

--Cynthia of We Make A Beautiful Mess

1 Pie Dough – Store bought or home-made.
1 Basket of organic perfectly ripe strawberries
    2 Springs of  fresh thyme
    Zest from one clementine
    1 tbsp of good vanilla
    1 egg
    1 packet of raw sugar
    2 tbsp of Organic honey

    1. Follow the instructions of whatever dough method you are using, I used this one. It calls for the oven to be at 450 degrees.

    2. Slice the strawberries and place them in a bowl – add the honey, thyme, zest, and vanilla and combine.

    3. Let everything sit for about 5 minutes so all the flavors combine.

    4. Roll out your dough, place the berry mix in the middle of the dough and slowly spread out. Fold in the dough.

     5. Whisk up the egg and brush some of the mixture on the outer crust. This will create a beautifully golden crust.

    6. Sprinkle the raw sugar on the dough and place in the oven at 450 degrees and bake for 15 minutes. Your house should smell aaaamazing! Enjoy!

We will be making this for the office at the first sight of a local strawberry stand!

We love the way all different types of bloggers show off their personal style in the most simple of ways, making it easy for us to achieve the looks, too!
