  • Best way to transistion into fall in my opinion would be to wear a dress by making it cozy. Warm up with a spiced cider at your favorite cafe while the leaves fall outside the windows.
    I would wear the
'Floral Muse Dress' with the 'parting is such sweet sorrow ruffle blouse' underneith.
To keep warm I would throw on a 'simply "mauve" lous cardigan' over.
Of course my shoes have to be cozy/comfy and stylish too, I would pair the whole outfit with 'be mine brown bowtie suede pumps' to match the tie in the back of the dress.
Also, I would love to pair the whole outfit with the 'frosted hibiscus indie earrings' and the 'zip pro quo coffee purse'.
    :) Enjoy.

  • I think Fall seasonal clothing is my favorite!! :0)

This transitional outfit was inspired by Amy Adams' wardrobe in the movie "Leap Year" (I'd take one of everything from her closet!) and by Taylor Swift's personal style (always so romantic and feminine!).

1)The "Tulip For Your Love Ruffle Dress" is the perfect summer-to-fall transitional dress. Layers and accessories can bring it into either season!
    http://www.shopruche.com/tulip-for-your-love-ruffle-dress-p-3943.html

2)To bring the dress into Fall, I've chosen the classic "Stroll Down Penny Lane Trench Coat."
    http://www.shopruche.com/stroll-down-penny-lane-trench-coat-by-tulle-p-3323.html

    3) Tights are perfect for cooler weather and look so sweet with a floral dress! For this outfit, I'd pick the "Basic Opaque Tights" in forest green.
    http://www.shopruche.com/basic-opaque-tights-p-3561.html

    4) A great pair of boots is a Fall wardrobe staple! I'd pick the "Let's Take A Ride Knee High Boots"
    http://www.shopruche.com/lets-take-a-ride-knee-high-boots-p-3609.html

    5) A dainty leaf ring is a perfect Fall accessory: "Autumn Leaf Indie Ring"
    http://www.shopruche.com/autumn-leaf-indie-ring-p-1771.html

    6) I like this distressed leather bag, because it adds a vintage touch to the outfit: "Weaving Around Town Purse" in brown.

    7) Finally, a fun floral headband adds a pop of color to the outfit: "Juliet Headband in Coral."
    http://www.shopruche.com/juliet-headband-in-coral-by-petit-plume-p-2903.html

    Enjoy! :0)

  • If I were going to put together my fall transition outfit from Ruche it would consist of:
    -starlight, starbright red sweetheart dress
    -chenin grape scarf in gray
-juliet headband in coral by Petit Plume
-weave me around clutch in smoky gray
-salute your soldier ruffle jacket by Tulle
-Pink Studio "Bellina" Mary Jane Pumps
    -raven black sheer crew socks
-patina feather and miniature key necklace by violet bella

The reasoning behind this outfit is because the dress would work for any season. With the added pieces like the jacket, crew socks and closed-toe shoes, it helps bring the entire outfit into fall. Not to mention that grey and navy are great transitional colors and will help ground the outfit.

(I really want this outfit now)

  • This fall, Mad Men 60's style is so cool and so chic. With the start of HBO's Boardwalk Empire, I am inspired and am channeling a 1920s vibe. The scandals, the t-strap pumps and deco diamonds, oh my! The fall outfit of my dreams, today, is:

I'd start my outfit w/ a dress (of course), the Avalon Starburst Dress by Dear Creatures.

Then I'd use the Basic Opaque Tights for a fall ladylike look. If I could choose, I'd use them in a marbled grey, but black will be fine too.

For a pop of color to go with the black and white hues of the dress, I'd wear the Matisee Meg Denim Wedges.

Finally, I'd keep my accessories simple and go with the long and fabulous Ribbons and Chains and Pearls Necklace, only.

To quote Coco Chanel, " A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous."

Thanks for listening to my style story on this dreary day. Awesome contest!

The name of the dress brings past happy memories of fall and a new excitement for the start of the holidays. It’s a little chilly outside so my Lets take a Ride cinnamon colored boots are perfect to pair with my dress. My beautiful soft Let the leaves fall cardigan gives me a perfect base to begin putting my accessories on. I choose time is on my side necklace because its timeless look works great with any outfit. I need my go to purse so I grab my zip pro quo coffee purse and just to add that final pop of color a toss on my chenin grape navy scarf. I feel good and look great and now I’m ready to start my day.

  • As I was clicking around, I was inspired by the afternoon book club cardigan by Nick and Mo. I think it would look nice paired with the Restricted "Scrabble" Oxfords in green and my favorite dark jeans. I'd throw on the blushing stones earrings and of course grab my brickyard library handbag full of wonderful reads.
