 Step 1: With a ruler and pencil, outline a chevron design onto the canvas.

Step 2: Cover every other section with tape.Step 3: Apply glue over the uncovered areas and sprinkle with glitter.Step 4: Once dry, carefully remove the tape.Step 5: Paint the remaining parts of the canvas and let dry.

Step 6: Hang the completed project!

  • so cute! i love glitter and chevrons so this is awesome. i think it'd make a little more sense though to paint the whole canvas the color you want and then put the glitter on top.

  • I love this! I've done one myself. It's much easier and cleaner, if you paint the canvas, let it dry and then draw the chevron stencil on top of the paint and glue on the glitter! Then there's no glitter in the paint, and you don't have to attempt to paint inside the lines!
