We are simply enamored with this season, so we wanted a style feature that conveyed the true essence of fall. Every lovely photo shot by the talented Brandon Kidd in our newest feature, Greeting Autumn, has a sense of crisp autumn air and the cozy feeling of a season that makes us want to bake cinnamon-sweet confections in our kitchen, go on a stroll at dusk with someone we love, and cuddle up in warm knit scarves and blankets. As the leaves burst into a riot of color and a sweet apple scent fills the air in every orchard, we wanted our feature to convey the simple joy of filling a basket with fruit on an autumn afternoon. So we took a trip to a beautiful apple orchard as the perfect backdrop for showing you the fall trends we are most excited about this season.

Let’s start with prints and lace. We’re getting a little daring with our prints this season, mixing chevron stripes and brocade, or stripes and polka dots, letting our whimsy lead the way. Prints are a great way to add visual interest to a layered outfit, making them a fall style essential. Lace on the other hand is one of the most timeless trends in our book, always adding a feminine and romantic touch to any fall outfit. And when it comes to layering, lace adds a vintage-inspired texture that we adore.

"I absolutely love fall, so I was extremely excited about styling this photoshoot! I wanted to incorporate fall colors and fabrics such as burgundy and plaid, but also pinks, blues, and lace. I was inspired by the beautiful location and wanted the outfits to have a rustic, yet elegant feel."

Channeling rustic charm in the fall is another of our favorite trends, and we are reaching for cute fall boots, plaid, and chambray tops to get the look. But some days we’re smitten with prep school polish and opt for classic prints like tartan and houndstooth. We’re also stocking up on cozy sweaters, printed pants, maxi skirts, and warm tights! Lastly, we’re finishing our fall ensembles with statement coats that aren’t short on character, cute accessories and shoes in rich fall hues, and statement necklaces that add the requisite amount of sophisticated sparkle.

A huge thanks to everyone involved in the shoot for helping us to bring this vision to life! We hope you enjoy shopping through our fall fashion feature, Greeting Autumn, for style inspiration that’s as beautiful as the season.
