It is the beginning of another beautiful week, Ruchettes, and to shake off our longing for the care-free weekend, we have created a few resolutions to embrace this week with love, spontaneity and self-care.
Take time to enjoy. With fall well underway, it seems a shame to miss out on the sweet moments of the season. From picking out the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch to munching on lemon tarts with your girlfriends, take some time to unwind and participate in an activity that makes you genuinely happy.
Put down your to-do list. Sometimes our lives feel like a never ending to do list, tugging us between birthday presents, dry cleaning and emails. While it feels great to check things off, we challenge you to put down your list for an hour and take some time for yourself. Cuddle up to read a good book, craft a new DIY project or layer up in fall's finest and enjoy some tea in the park. The time off will give you more energy and a sense of peace when tackling the rest of your day.
Do something thoughtful for someone else. Life is only made sweeter through the adventures and moments we share with friends and family. While it can be a challenge to see those we love on a regular basis, sending them a card, handmade present or giving them a call just to chat will brighten their day and yours.
