Henry David Thoreau's exploration of the self and solitude in Walden is inspiring and reminds us to constantly look at our surroundings with fresh eyes. It is possible to see beauty everywhere, and the fall season provides us things like golden leaves scattered across the sidewalks, cloudy skies, and our favorite patterned scarves and knit cardigans. Even on the gloomiest of autumn days, maintaining a fresh perspective can keep you inspired and fill you with wonder at the beauty in everyday things!
