 view the maxi dress

With all the hype of our soon-to-come-bundle-of-joy, Josh and I realized that our lives are going to change quite a bit. It'll change for the good, of course, but it will just be... different. And busier. Right now, we try our best to go on dates at least once or twice a week, even for something simple like dinner and a movie, and we really want to plan a vacation while we still have time. Supposedly, the 2nd trimester is the best time to go on vacation because it's when you're feeling the best, so I have to start planning soon! I have a few weeks left before the 3rd trimester, which I hope won't be too bad. Plus, I can always use an excuse for a vacation. :

  • I love Maternity Mondays!! I just started my 2nd trimester and I'm starting to think about whether I'll be able to travel for Christmas (I'll be 29 weeks by then).

Great idea to have "date nights" now... sometimes I forget how much our lives are going to change!

  • O you can go in the 3rd, but you have to check with your doc (or midwife) how late into your 3rd you can go. Also, airlines won't take you past 32 or 36 weeks (I forget which). But 2nd would be the best! Just remember, you can still go places with the little one in tow. We took our son on movie dates with us until he was 3 months old because all he did was sleep!

By the way, you are beautiful! I love your maternity style. I wish I was so little that I could pull off the normal things for longer!
