I can't believe how fast she's growing now! It seems like my baby bump is getting bigger everyday, which makes me more and more excited. People keep asking about her name... Josh and I haven't finalized a name yet, but Amelie is in the lead. :)

  • Mai, I'm at home with my LO and getting ready to head back to work in a month. LO is 8 months old and I've got quite a way to go before I lose the rest of my baby weight (20 lbs). I need to buy new work clothes, obviously from Ruche!, and I'm curious: did you size up to fit the belly and new gal pals, or did you pick pieces that were forgiving in your original size?

I'm a pear shape. When I size up to a M, I find the sleeves, chests, and necklines are too large, but my hips are happy. If I try on S, I'm stretching things to the limit. What's a girl to do?! Would love to hear some of the tips you've picked up after months of trying on the most beautiful clothes with an everchanging body! (You give me hope for my wardrobe for pregnancy #2!).

    Congrats and good luck :)

  • Hi there RD,
Sorry for the late response! There were some tighter pieces that I sized up, but a lot of the really stretchy pieces, I was able to still wear my size luckily. Jersey skirts like these:, are my best friends! I can seriously wear them everyday and for those I kept my normal size. I also picked pieces that had an empire waist or no waist at all and used a belt to cinch up at the my empire waist. Hope that helps!
