View Mai's maternity-friendly outfit: navy sparrow dress, green cardigan, orange heels

Josh and I are eager to find a name for our baby girl. We definitely want something unique, but the search has been very difficult! People say that when you make reservations or order coffee, test out potential baby names and see how they sound when people call them. We'll probably start that as soon as we have some options. I really want to start talking to her and calling her by name instead of just "baby", but we need more suggestions for our name jar. What are your favorite girl names?

xo,
Mai

  • I love the name Wren. It's short and sweet. I would have used it for a girl but we were blessed with boys.

  • Congrats on your baby girl! My suggestion is a name I absolutely love, but that my husband had veto'd: Juliet. The look, sound, and even feel of it is just so enchanting - not unlike Shakespeare's own. Good luck on your search for baby-name perfection!

  • AMARA. Ok, I'm biased because this is my daughter's name. I work at Starbucks and have heard every possible name. I needed an international name and this worked great for my Dominican family, close friends in the Middle East, everywhere! Good luck picking a name, when you find the right one, you'll just know!
