It's no secret that we love do-it-yourself projects, but we get especially excited when it involves recycling or potentially digging through treasures at the local flea market! This project is a great solution for anyone who is looking to add an expensive and shabby-chic headboard to their bedroom or guest room.

My husband and I had been looking for a way to fix our room on a budget. We loved reclaimed wood and just about anything reclaimed. Because of good vibes and good fortune we came across some old doors and did not want to pass up the opportunity to buy them. (Especially since they were $5 together!)  We gave them a good scrub and we really didn't want to do much else to them. So we mounted them onto our wall just about our bed and made a headboard out of our two new (old!) doors.
