After waiting days for non-stop rain to clear, Amanda and Steve were graced with a beautifully sunny day as friends and family joined to celebrate their wedding. Looking at pictures, you wouldn't think their magical day was almost entirely made up of DIY ideas and collections from thrift shops. With a little bit of planning and dreaming of their perfect wedding, this beautiful bride and groom made all of their dreams come true for their special day.

Our wedding and reception were held in a restored bank barn from 1844. Steve and I wanted our wedding to be reflective of our own life, love and style. To keep costs down, we booked our venue three months out. We also made our own invitations, favors, centerpieces, collected China from thrift shops for months, and found a vintage globe to use as our guest book. My talented mother also made our wedding cake and cupcakes.

The three days leading up to our wedding, it was non stop rain. I woke up on June 8th, to a beautiful sunny day! Walking into our venue that day and seeing everything come together was so incredible. I was in my dress, everything was in its place; it was almost time! Seeing my handsome husband standing at the altar was something I will never forget. I couldn’t wait to be his wife.

The reception was filled with music, good food and great friends. Our wedding day was perfect. We are so happy that all of our friends and family were able to be there to share such an unforgettable day with us! I don’t think I will ever get tired of looking back at our wedding album.
