Meet Caitlin, our November Ruchette of the Month! A sweet girl with the most adorable Ruchette style. We've come to love all of her darling outfits and wanted to get to know her a little bit better, so we took the time to ask her a few fun questions!

So we have to ask, how was your time in London & Paris?
London & Paris...amazing. But how could it not be, right? One of the things I love most about traveling is that no matter how much time my husband and I spend planning and scheduling and dreaming, there are these little unplanned moments that always steal the show. Like a little food market in London we found by total accident, where we bought amazing bread and cheese. Or deciding to totally ditch our tour group in a tiny village to see an amazing abbey used in the Harry Potter films. Or walking into Notre Dame right in the middle of mass, where the candle-lit walls and beautiful baritone voice brought us to tears. I hope to travel all my life, just to discover moments like those!

How long have you and your husband been together? How did you meet?
Dustin and I have been together for 6 1/2 years total! We were married on New Year's Day two years ago (1-1-11), but we began dating senior year of high school. (We found out later we had actually gone to preschool together, but that was just a happy coincidence!)

We met and fell in love in high school, starting out as the typical high school romance: he thought I was weird, I thought he was cute. We had other crushes and dates. We sang in choir together, and we became "friends".

He'd push me into lockers or tie my hoodie around my head, and I'd roll my eyes and call him an idiot. Somehow the teasing turned to flirting by the time senior year came around, and the rest is history!

Describe what you would wear on a date night:
Dress, great shoes, sparkling jewelry. Date night is all about the dresses! I tend to go with flats more often than heels, but on date night, I like to go as fancy as possible!

What has been your favorite trend within the past year?
Pants. All the way. Floral pants, patterned denim, polka dots, stripes, brightly colored jeans. I love seeing how creatively patterns can be introduced in pants now - it's like they're finally having their time to shine! I hope the trend lasts forever. (And even if it doesn't - I'll proudly stick up for myself if my future kids make fun of my floral pants!)

Boots or oxfords? Necklaces or earrings?
Boots! I love my brown pair of riding style boots. My mom is a horse trainer so I like to think I channel her courageous spirit when I wear them. And goodness...can I say both? I love jewelry. I think at this point in my style I've really simplified my daily jewelry wear, so if I had to choose I'd say a great pair of earrings. I still never leave the house empty-eared!

Share with us your favorite quote: We just redid our bathroom, and I purchased a print from my favorite artist on Etsy, Mae Chevrette, with the quote: "Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer." I'd say that's my favorite at the moment.

Favorite color to wear?
Vibrant green, or coral!

If you were stuck on a desert island, what 3 things would you bring?
Mexican food, my camera, and a super-cute bathing suit. Oh, and maybe my husband!
