After a vote around the office, it is safe to say that we are completely in love with Maggie of Lifesize Paperdoll. She's a fashion guru, budding photographer, college student and the epitome of a perfect Ruchette. A Guest Editor of a few Blogger Family posts, Maggie seems to always be wearing the trends that we are loving, while putting her unique and spunky twist on polka dots, colored denim and prints. With her classy style and personable writing, Maggie continues to inspire us with her sense of fashion that is true to herself.

She was kind enough to answer a few of our question, so continue reading to learn more about our latest Ruchette of the Month!

What inspired you to start off on your blogging adventure?
When I was 17, I had the unique thought that I was a teenager who didn't fit in with anyone I went to school with *shudder* so I started a fashion blog to basically make friends with other people who spent all their minimum wage high school job paychecks at Forever21. It's changed over the years (I'm 21 now!) but I love how it has changed with me as I've morphed into a 21 year old creative writing cat loving college student.

We love the name of your blog, how did you come up with it?
Back when I was, 17, and wildly unique, I liked this guy with a girlfriend already. He listened to Andrew Bird so I swore I loved Andrew Bird, too, and listened to him non stop. When I made my blog, it was during this Andrew Bird/get the guy phase and I heard the lyric "I thought you were a lifesize paperdoll" and voila! Blog name! (I did get the guy, but after I confessed I listened to pop 63% of the time. He still liked me.)

How would you describe your style?
I'm a MAJOR bargain hunter and gravitate towards things that are feminine. I've strayed away from wild prints like I used to wear but polka dots are a constant in my closet. I'd say my favorite outfits have some sort of polish to them but still with quirky details- peter pan collars, studs, and bows.

What is your favorite go-to outfit for a day on campus?
Striped tee, below knee flowy skirt, belt, ballet flats, belt, and scarf! In Montana, it's important to layer!

What has been your favorite spot to take photos at?
I'm from a small town in the middle of the Palouse in Northern Idaho and it is just my favorite place to go back to for pictures. I didn't appreciate how good I had it in high school! There were endless fields, barns, bodies of water, dirt roads- the stuff of good personal style blogging, right? In Missoula, I opt for the brick walls of old classic buildings and train stations!

Favorite TV show? Any shows you've been dying to start watching?
My favorite TV show is definitely a tie between Gossip Girl and Gilmore Girls. Rory was my role model growing up and Jess is definitely my dream boat. Also, Downton Abbey. I've been dying to watch Game of Thrones!

    What are your comfort foods?
Grilled cheese and redvines. Every single time.

Pick one item in your closet you could not live without.
My pink lace mid length dress from Ruche- it's been my go to for first dates, weddings, casual days in the city, work parties, work events, and more! Easily the most worn item in my closet.

If you were a season of the year, which season would you be?
Ugh this is hard because if I were a season, I'd be winter, but if I were a month, I'd be May!

Lately, our favorite style bloggers have been sporting cute dresses and skirts to beat the summer heat. We also love the berry hues they have been incorporating into their outfits that add a lovely warm pop of color!

Kim from Eat.Sleep.Wear. looks so chic in our layered pink dress and her floral cardigan. The flowy layers look great on her and we love how the bright color stands out against the city skyline!

Mara always looks radiant in her feminine and sophisticated outfits!  We love how she paired our mint purse with her lace skirt and causal top in her first look, and bright colors in her second outfit!  She always has the perfect Ruchette style.

We adore the sweet and casual look that Rebecca of The Clothes Horse put together with our plaid shirt dress. Her whole ensemble is perfect for an afternoon stroll on a deserted country road.

Maggie of Lifesize Paperdoll looks darling in her bright yellow outfits! We love how she tucked our strawberry red floral top into a high-waisted skirt and belted our yellow peter pan collar dress. You can find a similar dress style here

Here is a roundup of what some of our favorite bloggers have been wearing lately. We can't get enough of their stripes, florals, and polka dots and love these transitional summer looks!

Our beautiful stylist, Mara, never ceases to amaze us with her gorgeous outfits.  She can pull off any pattern, trend or color and she always finds a way to add a polished and feminine touch to her style.  In her most recent outfit post, she wears a high-low dress and a striped cardigan with our necklace and Grey Suede Platforms.

Melina, from The Caffeinated Closet, has the perfect Ruche girl style.  Her outfits are stylish, inspiring, and full of color.  We admire her ability to remix pieces in her wardrobe in new and different ways and love how she paired our Floral Necktie Blouse with vibrant pops of orange and yellow! We adore Maggie, from Lifesize Paperdoll, because she loves pulling off the some of the most recent trends.  Two of our current favorite styles are colored denim and the classic polka dot print.  In her outfit she pairs our Coral Skinnies with our skinny belt and an adorable polka dot patterned blouse.  She could wear this outfit for a fun date night or for a relaxing weekend brunch.

What Ruche pieces have you been wearing lately? We'd love to see your outfits for some styling inspiration!

Melina, of The Caffeinated Closet, can't get enough of our polka dot dresses!  We adore how she dressed up our white and purple polka dot dress with a mint colored cardigan and Seychelles heels.  For her second look, she belted our Lovely Lucille Polka Dot Dress and paired it with a dark green sweater and boots for a more casual look. "I love polka dots because they are a classic, versatile print and can easily be dressed up or down. Plus, they instantly make any outfit more fun!"

Both of Caitlin's outfits incorporate bright coral and pink tones for the perfect summer outfits.  We love how she is embracing both the polka dot and colored denim trend! "One of my favorite new trends is brightly colored pants.  A whole new world of colorful opportunity has been opened up to us! My first pair of bright bottoms are these adorable coral skinny jeans from Ruche.  I could wear these every day. They're comfortable, fun, and oh-so-sassy. Another great addition to my drawers!"Maggie, of Lifesize Paperdoll, recently styled our polka dot peplum top with a skinny white belt and mint jeans! We love the unexpected red and mint color combination in her playful summer outfit and adore her matching red flats. As a finishing touch, she added a charming straw hat that pulls her whole colorful summer look together!
