The days of winter can sometimes feel bleak. The sun sets earlier and earlier, many cities are covered in blankets of white snow overlooked by grey skies, and colorful blossoms are sparse. Despite this, we admire the Ruchettes that inject color into these gloomy days with their bright style! Bold shades of blue, gorgeous greens, and lush mustard yellow seen on a few of our favorite bloggers this week brought color back into our dim week. We're inspired by their daring and uplifting style!

Looking adorable in our mustard-hued detailed sweater dress, The Clothes Horse's Rebecca keeps this hue seasonally appropriate with a hat, scarf, quirky purse and ankle boots. We always love a wide brim hat, and we adore how it perfectly completes her ensemble!  cute-sweater-dress

We love the feminine silhouette created by this skirt that was made for twirling. Her long locks and sweet smile make this outfit exta swoonworthy! laura

Looking perfect in plaid, Love Lola Blog's Lauren pairs our neutral-hued plaid skirt with a cobalt blue Henley-inspired blouse and over-the-knee boots. Plaid is always a cool-weather staple, and we adore how Lauren pairs this essential with a bold blouse for a pop of color! love lola blog

In this understated yet chic outfit, Signe of Signeroo looks absolutely darling! We love how she plays with proportions with her high waisted jeans and long printed cardigan. Wintery hues like navy blue and deep mustard yellow perfectly complement the other neutral tones in her ensemble, and her outfit leaves us inspired. cozy

Rebecca of The Clothes Horse looks perfectly retro in this sweater dress adorned with wintery tones and a geometric print. Her sweet side braid, beret and B.A.I.T Footwear oxford style pumps keep this ensemble perfect vintage-inspired. We're swooning!

In an outfit that perfectly balances femininity with edge, Adri Lately stuns by pairing a printed drop waist dress with a moto jacket. We think this pairing is the perfect way to bring even the most summery dress into the cooler months. On extra chilly days, we would add tall socks and boots for a cozy touch.

Many of us instinctively send our summer dresses to the back of our closets once the sun sets on summer, but we're looking to change that. If you haven't heard, it's Frocktober and we are celebrating by wearing a dress every day! Since styling dresses for cooler days can sometimes be a challenge, this edition of Frocktober Style Files is dedicated to a few Ruchettes who have mastered the art of taking a summer dress into the chilly fall season.

Rebecca of The Clothes Horse looks darling in this deep-hued floral dress perfect for fall. We love midnight florals, especially when paired with an edgy moto jacket, cozy tights, and colorful heels! the-clothes-horse

The stylish Curious Natalia looks darling in our printed dress! She perfects this fall outfit by layering a chambray blouse and straw wide-brim hat over her frock. Her shoes provide the perfect pop of color! curious-natalia

Kaity of Lovely Friend takes her striped dress into fall by pairing it with a dark wash denim jacket and oxford booties. We love how she transforms this dress from a summer favorite to a classic fall ensemble. lovely-friend

Truly Tamara's Tamara teaches us a very important lesson with her too cute ensemble - any dress can be made fall-ready with the addition of a denim vest and ankle boots! Her summery maxi adorned with a floral print is light and airy, but looks perfect for autumn with just a few key pieces. We're in love! truly-tamara

We hope you're inspired to participate in Frocktober! Whether it's still pushing 80 degrees in your hometown, or you're expecting sprinkling showers (or even snowflakes!), with a little creativity you can still wear a dress every day! Happy Frocktober, Ruchettes!

If you aren't already a fan of this fashionista, you may recognize the darling Rebecca, author of The Clothes Horse, as a past Ruchette Of The Month or from her style remix feature on our site. When she isn't jet-setting between Pennsylvania and Northern Ireland with her fiance Thomas, Rebecca is busy discovering a new favorite designer or capturing beautiful outfit photos for her blog. This gal is truly in love with all things fashion; often featuring high fashion recap posts alongside her own personal adventures. We can't get enough of her end-of-summer style, so we wanted to share her sartorial perfection with you!

Like something out of a springtime dream, Rebecca looks simply ethereal! We love this outfit featuring a simple blouse, neutral sandals, and our chambray Weekend Outing skirt. Her darling orange purse and bouquet of bright yellow wildflowers make the perfect accessories!
