Winter sparkles with enchanted magic for us every year, which is why we’re so excited to share the launch of our winter lookbook, Once Upon A Time. We’re hugely grateful to the talented Brandon Kidd for such gorgeous photography that overflows with wintry beauty. As we look forward to pure white snow dusting the ground and festive wreaths greeting us at every door, we wanted our lookbook to convey the particular enchantment of winter. So we ventured into a wooded wonderland, just like where Snow White lived with the Seven Dwarves, to highlight all of our favorite trends for our winter outfits.
The holiday season brings with it festive soirees and general merriment in the air. It’s the time for sequins, metallics, and gemstones to shine because elegant embellishments are a perennial classic for bringing sparkle to winter outfits. Naturally it’s time to start searching for the perfect holiday party dress, and to be sure your closet has a frock for every occasion. We also love ladylike and luxe details in our winter outfits, like a bit of lace or embroidery, pretty bow accents, and brocade prints.
Since the cold front means we have to be all wrapped up to stay warm, accessorizing our winter outfits is a cold weather must. We’re smitten with cute ankle booties and tall brown boots to stay toasty warm, but we reach for vintage inspired T-strap heels for nights out. A stylish cloche, a great structured bag, or a chunky knit scarf are also great ways to instantly elevate winter outfits. But your coats will be tossed over each and every ensemble, so opt for statement coats that are printed, colorblocked, or perfectly finished with sophisticated details, in order to keep cozy without sacrificing style.
A huge thanks to the talented team on this shoot for making our lovely winter lookbook possible! We hope our lookbook makes you dream of winter days staying in by the fireplace, of bundling up and going on a walk amidst evergreens, and of slipping into something dazzling for a magical evening soiree. Take a peek now for inspiration to put together beautiful winter outfits that are sure to enchant until spring blossoms arrive again.
